Privacy Policy

Live Camera Wallpaper (“we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app collects, why, and who processes it.

1. Information We Collect

The app has no accounts. We do not collect your name, email address, contacts, files, precise location, or advertising identifier.

To understand how the app is used and to fix problems, the app sends the following information using Google Firebase:

• Usage data (Firebase Analytics): how you use the app — for example, which live streams you play (YouTube video IDs), when you turn the live wallpaper on and off and for how long, whether a video played or showed an error, and how you interact with the purchase screen and menus.
• Purchase information: whether you started the free trial or bought the full version, with the product, price, and currency. Payments are processed by Apple; we never receive your payment card details.
• Device and app information: macOS version, Mac model, app version, language, and number of displays.
• Approximate location: country and city, derived by Google from your IP address.
• A random app identifier generated by Firebase. It is not tied to your name, Apple ID, or any account, and it is reset if you delete the app and its data.
• Crash and diagnostic data (Firebase Crashlytics): when the app crashes or a playback or purchase error occurs — technical details of the error, the state of the app at that moment (for example, whether the wallpaper was on and which video was playing), and a random installation identifier.

2. Use of Information

We use this information only to:

• understand which features and live streams people use, and improve the app;
• find and fix crashes, playback problems, and broken streams;
• understand how the free trial and purchases work for users.

This information is not linked to your identity. We do not use it for advertising, we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and we do not sell or share it with data brokers.

3. Third-Party Services

Google Firebase (Analytics and Crashlytics) processes the information described above on our behalf. We may also export analytics and crash data to Google BigQuery in our own Google Cloud project to analyze it. See Privacy and Security in Firebase and the Google Privacy Policy.

YouTube: live streams are played with the embedded YouTube player. YouTube may collect information according to its own policies, which we do not control. See the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.

Apple processes the free trial and in-app purchases through the App Store under the Apple Privacy Policy.

4. Data Retention

Crash reports are kept by Firebase Crashlytics for 90 days. Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings of our Firebase project and in our BigQuery export only as long as we need it to analyze and improve the app.

5. Your Choices

Deleting the app and its data resets the Firebase identifiers, so new usage data is not connected to earlier data. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access or delete information about you — contact us and we will help.

6. Children

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Security

Information is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and stored by Google Firebase and Google Cloud, which use industry-standard security measures.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted here with the effective date.
